Australia 2000-2001

Australia is one of my all-time favourite destinations. I enjoyed my time there so much that I am very keen to get back asap.

In the time I was in Australia I travelled over 10,000 kms. 2 boat trips and gained my PADI diving licence. Did dozens of dives, and saw hundreds of different fish. Saw lots of different animals and birds.

Update 2006

In 2001 my tenancy on the house I was living in expired, and I was in the process of booking my tickets to return to Australia when Jo decided to invite me to stay with her for a couple of weeks. Those couple of weeks have now turned into several years and a marriage. I have still been travelling, but with Jo and Kevin in tow, instead of on my own or with my usual travelling companions.
